Spring in a rush this year

During the last few winters March was definitely a winter month with lots of snow and cold; not this one it is pleasant and warm so far. We have had a couple of days in the 50’s with pleasant sunshine. Most; but not all of our snow is gone; it can’t last much longer though. Seems like spring is here in a hurry this year. I am very ready to get back into the swing of guiding nature exploration and fishing trips. Of course there are still a fair number of days until the weather is consistently warm and pleasant enough for that.

I am very busy in my role as Executive Director for the Maine Professional Guides Association. We will be rolling out an interesting new web application at the LL Bean Spring Fishing Expo in a couple of weeks and our annual banquet is just around the corner on April 10th . Add in a few meetings, the spring sports shows and a little travel; late spring is a very busy time of year for me.

Not to mention my own presentation at the Spring Fishing Expo and the Maine Outdoors e-newsletter that is scheduled for next week. Hope to see you all during at least one of those events in the next few weeks.
