Unusual wildlife sightings

July and August are always the busiest part of my season, most days have me on the water somewhere. All of that time coming and going or just being on the water gets me to see lots of unusual sights. This afternoon I was fishing along the shore of Megunticook Lake in Camden with clients and there on the shore were two fawns (still with spots) feeding as if we simply did not exist. Last week clients and I saw a deer in the water feeding much as a moose does on a different part of the lake.

Rewarding

One of the most rewarding parts of my life as a guide is the repeat clients I see. Some I see every year for a trip or two or others like this party after a gap of 20 or more years. Amazing that they remember and want to repeat an experience from long ago like this canoe trip with family and friends.

The memories made outdoors are good and are worth recreating!
